a passion for kids
A mother of toddler twin girls, photographer Wendy Boyer has been blessed with a love of and gift for working with children. Her patient demeanor, genuine warmth and kindness charms children and fosters trust with parents. Her playful approach with children - which might include a game of peek-a-boo, silly songs, tickles or hide-and-seek—lets them “just be kids” while she documents a range of priceless expressions.
Wendy’s experience with children and technical camera skills allow her to capture not only the heartwarming, ear-to-ear smile, but the wide-eyed gaze of wonder, the serious concentration that comes with discovery, the innocent chubby-cheek stare, an eyebrow-raised spark of mischief as well as pure delight that accompanies tummy-clutching laughter. All joyful expressions, all unique to your child, all caught and preserved to remind you of those carefree days of childhood.
We believe a family’s story begins before a child is born so we welcome and embrace the invitation to photograph expecting mothers. Maternity portraits are a wonderful way to celebrate your pregnancy and serve as a reminder of the beautiful miracle of childbirth. Wendy’s style of capturing the natural beauty of expecting mothers has awarded her the title of official photographer for the Ms. Maternity Pageant.
